I am interested in how institutions, markets, and policy decisions shape economic development.

I am a student at UWC Thailand working across economics, finance, and public policy, with a particular interest in the Philippines. My work focuses on fiscal sustainability, monetary-policy transmission, government securities, capital markets, and company valuation.

My interest in economics developed from trying to understand how public institutions make decisions under real financial constraints. Questions about public debt, revenue capacity, development spending, inflation, and market confidence led me toward independent research on Philippine fiscal and monetary institutions.

My recent work includes an SSRN working paper on competing interpretations of fiscal sustainability in the Philippines. I am also developing research on the role of peso-denominated government securities within the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas’ interest-rate corridor, particularly their relationship with liquidity management, interest-rate transmission, and domestic market development.

Alongside policy research, I am building practical skills in financial statement analysis, company research, valuation, and financial modeling. I am interested in the connection between public institutions and private capital: how governments finance development, how markets price risk, and how firms allocate capital and create long-term value.

I also contribute to the work of UWC Philippines through its Finance Committee and Selections Committee. These roles have strengthened my interest in institutional decision-making, resource allocation, and the balance between financial constraints and long-term opportunity.

This website is a record of that development. It brings together my research, writing, finance projects, datasets, and future analytical tools as I continue building a more rigorous understanding of economics, institutions, and markets.
